VIRTUAL CONSULTATION FORUM WITH CIVIL SOCIETY EXTENDED THROUGH JUNE 10th, 2005

 The Office for Sustainable Development (DSD) of the Organization of American States (OAS) would like to remind you to participate in the Virtual Consultation Forum “Engaging Civil Society in the Health and Environment Ministers of the Americas (HEMA) Follow-up Initiative.” We would also like to inform you that the Virtual Forum will be extended until Friday, June 10th, 2005.

The resulting recommendations from the Virtual Forum will be presented during the Meeting of Health and Environment Ministers of the Americas that will take place in Mar del Plata, Argentina, June 14 – 17, 2005.  The recommendations will then be incorporated in the Declaration of Ministers to be presented to the Fourth Summit of the Americas, to be held also in Argentina in November 2005, containing recommendations and policy lines to fulfill the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2010 and 2015.
