The DSD is supporting the improvement in
mechanisms related to the effective enforcement of
domestic environmental laws. This will be achieved
through the identification of institutional and
capacity-building needs at the country and regional
levels in the Andean Community, the Caribbean
countries and Central America.
In this area, the DSD is executing key
activities, including:
(1) A compilation of existing and proposed
trade Agreements that contain environmental provisions and citizen
submissions or similar processes;.

institutional requirements;
(3) Identification of recommendations on
