Grenada Hurricane Resilient Home Reconstruction (GH2R) Project
The GH2R, aims at
supporting information gathering and capacity building and training
necessary for the effective implementation of a hazard-resistant home
reconstruction programme in Grenada. The technical assistance component
has already generated a market analysis and needs assessment reports, and
initiated the development of the construction quality assurance (CQA)
procedures and standards. Other activities that are being undertaken under
this technical assistance project include: preliminary consultations on
institutional arrangements for lending by local banks, credit risk
coverage, and insurance coverage by local insurers. |
