Recent actions regarding multilateral treaties

On October 23, 2009, the Republic of Guyana
designated the Office of the Minister of Home Affairs as the
Central Authority for the purpose of the Inter-American
Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters.
On October 23, 2009, Uruguay deposited the
instrument of accession to the
Inter-American Convention on Serving Criminal Sentences
Abroad.
On September 3, 2009, Haiti deposited the
instrument of ratification to the Inter-American
Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination
Against Persons with Disabilities.
On July 17, 2009, Dominican Republic deposited the
instrument of ratification to the Protocol of
Amendments to the Charter of the Organization of American
States "Protocol of Washington".
On July 17, 2009, Dominican Republic deposited the
instrument of accession to the Inter-American
Convention on Transparency in Conventional Weapons
Acquisitions.
On July 17, 2009, Dominican Republic deposited the
instrument of accession to the Inter-American Convention to
Facilitate Disaster Assistance.
On July 16, 2009, Uruguay deposited the instrument of
ratification to the Protocol to the Inter-American
Convention on Taking of Evidence Abroad.
On June 16, 2009, Uruguay deposited the instrument of
ratification to the Inter-American Convention on Conflicts
of Laws Concerning the Adoption of Minors.
On May 26, 2009, Ecuador
updated information
and appointed the
"Consejo de Participación Ciudadana y Control Social"
as the central authority for the Inter-American Convention Against
Corruption.
On April 30, 2009, The Commonwealth of The Bahamas
deposited the instrument of ratification to the
Inter-American Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal
Matters.
On April 24, 2009, Dominican Republic deposited the
instrument of ratification to the Inter-American Convention
against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in
Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related
Materials.

Convention on Taking of Evidence Abroad, the Inter-American

Measures and the Inter-American Convention Against
Corruption.
