OAS General Assembly Resolutions on the Promotion of and Respect for International Humanitarian Law

Since 1994 successive OAS General Assembly Resolutions have been passed to promote the International Humanitarian Law. These resolutions urge Members States to consider taking the necessary steps of signing and ratifying the instruments of International Humanitarian Law, and of promulgating domestic laws designed to bring these instruments into force.
