The Department of International Law oversees the promotion and development of international law in accordance with the [Declaration of Panama on the Inter-American Contribution to the Development and Codification of International Law]. Under this commitment, the Department develops, promotes and implements activities relating to the teaching, study and advancement of international law as a follow-up to the [Inter-American Program for the Development of International Law].
 

Courses on International Law

The Course on International Law is an event organized annually since 1973 by the [Inter-American Juridical Committee] and the Secretariat for Legal Affairs (SLA) of the Organization of American States.
