Special Session 2008
On December 15th, 2008, the Committee on Juridical and
Political Affairs of the Permanent Council of the OAS,
conducted a special session on access to information. The
special session was carried out with the participation of
experts from the states and civil society representatives.
The purpose of the special session was to examine the
recommendations on Access to Public Information contained in
the Study on Access to Information organized by the
Department of International Law.
