Secured Transactions: Specialized Conference

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States set October 7 - 9, 2009, as the date for the Seventh Inter-American Specialized Conference on Private International Law (CIDIP-VII) on the agenda item “Secured Transactions: Electronic Registries implementation of the Model Inter-American Law on Secured Transactions.

Member States interested in participating in this Conference must forward relevant credentials of their delegations to OAS Secretary General prior to the meeting.

The Working Document to be considered at the Specialized Conference is the Joint Proposal of the Delegations of Canada, Mexico and the United States for Model Registry Regulations under the Model Inter-American Law on Secured Transactions.
