CIDIP-I, held in Panama City,
Panama in 1975, adopted the
following sixconventions
covering international trade and procedural law: the
Inter-American Convention on Conflict of Laws concerning
Bills of Exchange, Promissory Notes, and Invoices, the
Inter-American Convention on Conflict of Laws concerning
Checks, the Inter-American Convention on International
Commercial Arbitration, the Inter-American Convention on
Letters Rogatory, the Inter-American Convention on the
Taking of Evidence Abroad, and the Inter-American Convention
on the Legal Regime of Powers of Attorney to be used Abroad.
