IT Internship Opportunities

The Department of Information and Technology Services (DOITS) provides the information technology, systems and telecommunications services for the OAS; provides leadership throughout the Organization in support of systems planning and development, communications, and computer-related training; and provides policy and guidance to ensure the integrity and security of organizational data.
 

Internship Programs & Requirements

Internships with the Department of Information and Technology Services provide practical experience leading to the eventual achievement of career goals of the interns. Specific interest in computer help desk, electronic mail, application programming, database administration, data structuring, network design and operations, software quality assurance, IT security, technical writing and other IT related areas. Applicants should have a definite interest in and some formal knowledge in the areas of IT in which he/she wants to experience. The Internships are available in all 5 areas of DOITS (click here to review them). 

General Requirements:
 

Willingness to learn and bring new ideas to the Department

Organized and detail orientated

Ability to work in a team environment

Self starter

Good communication


 

Good command of at least two of the Official languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French) 


 

Minimum  two years of a BS/MS in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, statistics, math, or similar degree program.
