NEW DATE FOR THE SIXTH INTER-AMERICAN SPECIALIZED
CONFERENCE
ON PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW (CIDIP-VI)
THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,
CONSIDERING that, by resolution CP/RES. 801 (1299/01), the Permanent Council decided to postpone the Sixth Inter-American Specialized Conference on Private International Law (CIDIP-VI) and added that "It will be held in 2002, prior to February 15, on a date to be decided"; and
CONSIDERING ALSO the oral report given by the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Juridical and Political Affairs on the consensus reached regarding the date for the Conference,
RESOLVES:
To set February 4 to 8, 2002, as the dates for the Sixth Inter-American Specialized Conference on Private International Law (CIDIP-VI), to be held at the headquarters of the Organization, within resources allocated in the program-budget and other resources.
