INVITATIONS TO THE THIRTY-FOURTH REGULAR SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

CONSIDERING the provisions of Article 9 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly and the decision adopted by the Permanent Council on October 2, 1986,

RESOLVES:

1. To authorize the Secretary General of the Organization to invite the following inter-American regional or subregional governmental entities and agencies to attend the thirty-fourth regular session as observers:

• Central American Parliament
• Latin American Parliament
• Permanent Secretariat of the General Treaty on Central American Economic Integration – SIECA
• Secretariat of the Southern Common Market – MERCOSUR

2. To authorize the Secretary General of the Organization to invite the following specialized agencies of the United Nations and other international organizations to send observers to represent them at the thirty-fourth regular session.
