VOTE OF THANKS TO THE PEOPLE AND GOVERNMENT OF BARBADOS

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

CONSIDERING:

That, thanks to the hospitality of the people and Government of Barbados, the thirty-second regular session of the General Assembly was held on June 2, 3, and 4, 2002; and

That at the closing session of that regular session of the General Assembly the delegations unanimously decided to extend a vote of appreciation to Her Excellency Billie A. Miller, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados, for her effective and wise leadership as President of the Assembly,

RESOLVES to express its appreciation to the people and Government of Barbados for their generous hospitality and valuable support, which were essential to the successful work of the OAS General Assembly at its thirty-second regular session.
