INVITATIONS TO THE TWENTY-NINTH REGULAR SESSION
OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

CONSIDERING the provisions of subparagraphs (c) and (d) of Article 9 of the Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly,

RESOLVES:

1. To authorize the Secretary General of the Organization to invite the inter-American regional or subregional governmental entities and agencies specified below and not included among the bodies or agencies of the Organization to send observers to the twenty-ninth regular session, in accordance with the provisions of Article 9.c of the Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly:

- Association of Caribbean States
- Pan American Railway Congress Association - PARCA
- Latin American Integration Association - LAIA
- Central American Bank for Economic Integration - CABEI
- Caribbean Development Bank - CDB
- Inter-American Development Bank - IDB
- Permanent South Pacific Commission - CPPS
- Andean Community
- Caribbean Community - CARICOM
- Andean Development Corporation - FAC
- Financial Fund for the Development of the River Plate - FONPLATA
- Inter-American Defense Board - IADB
- Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America - OPANAL
- Organization of Eastern Caribbean States - OECS
- Latin American Energy Organization - OLADE
- Andean Parliament
- Central American Parliament
- Latin American Parliament
- Permanent Secretariat of the General Treaty on Central American Economic Integration - SIECA
- Secretariat pro tempore of the Southern Cone Common Market - MERCOSUR

2. To authorize the Secretary General of the Organization to invite the following United Nations specialized agencies and other international organizations, which have not entered into agreements with the Organization containing provisions for reciprocal attendance at meetings and conferences, to send observers to the twenty-ninth regular session, in accordance with the provisions of Article 9.d of the Rules of Procedure of the General Assembly:
