PLACE AND DATE OF THE FORTY-EIGHTH SPECIAL SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
TO CONSIDER AND ADOPT THE 2015-2016 PROGRAM-BUDGET

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

CONSIDERING that at its forty-fifth special session, the General Assembly, through resolution AG/RES. 1 (XLV-E/11) rev. 1, resolved to convoke a special session to consider and approve the 2015-2016 program-budget, to be held no later than October 29, 2014; and

BEARING IN MIND that it is necessary to determine a place and date to hold the special session of the General Assembly,

RESOLVES:

1. That the forty-eighth special session of the General Assembly to consider and approve the 2015-2016 program-budget will be held on October 29, 2014, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Organization.

2. To bring this resolution to the attention of the Preparatory Committee of the forty-eighth special session of the General Assembly.
