The Staff Association

"The Staff Committee" was created when the staff of the Pan American Union adopted the Articles of Agreement on November 13, 1945.

On July 16, 1952, the Council of the Organization of American States approved the inclusion in the Regulations of the Pan American Union of an article establishing a Staff Committee.

On June 16, 1953, the staff of the Pan American Union approved, in its General Assembly, to change the name to "Staff Association of the Pan American Union, General Secretariat of the Organization of American States".
