Interlibrary Loan

Inter-Library Loan

Procedures for obtaining materials from other libraries for the use of the staff from the Permanent Missions or the General Secretariat are established by the lending library. This service is rendered only after determining if the material requested does not form part of the collection of the Columbus Memorial Library.

All inter-library loans have to be channeled through the Reference Section of the Library to ensure control of the publications requested.

Date of expiration of the loan is indicated on the slip accompanying each publication received. Extensions of the loan period can be processed, if necessary, by contacting the Reference Section three days prior to due date.
