Marc Girouard (Industry Canada)
Marc Girouard received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Ottawa in 1995. His international activities
include ITU-R and CITEL work since 1997. From 2000 to 2003, he served as
Chairman of the CITEL working group responsible for the preparation for the ITU-R
World Radiocommunications Conference of 2003.
Marc works for the Canadian Government in the Spectrum
Engineering Branch of the Department of Industry where he has been responsible
for Radio Equipment Standards. More recently, he has occupied a number of senior
positions including Lab Director, Certification and Engineering Bureau, Deputy
Director, Telecommunications Engineering and Senior Policy Advisor in the
Telecommunications Policy Branch of Industry Canada. He can be reached by email
