Sr.
John Roman
John Roman has been involved in RF safety and
compliance for nearly 20 years, in various roles as a regulatory compliance
manager for several organizations. For several years John was the assistant
director and part of the research faculty at the Florida Atlantic University EMI
research and development laboratory, where he conducted research on
Electromagnetics, antenna design, and EMF fields. He holds a masters degree in
Electrical engineering, with a focus on Electromagnetics, and has written
several papers on EMC and regulatory compliance. John is currently working for
Intel Corporation, as the Manager of Global Spectrum Assessment and Policy, and
he is the corporate focal point at Intel for the RF Safety topic. John is also
Chairman of the Wi-Fi alliance RF health and Science team, which has been formed
to address communications and standards relative to RF safety and Wi-Fi
technology.
