The Young Americas Business
Trust
(Ybiz)
promotes the development of young entrepreneurs in the Americas and the Caribbean through a strategic alliance with the Organization of American States, civil society and governments of the Hemisphere. Ybiz Programs include:

  • The Ybiz.net-Internetwork: a resource center, on-line business lab, international technical cooperation network for young entrepreneurs and organizations.
  • School Business Labs which give students the opportunity to "learn to earn" and practice business skills.
  • Youth and Energy in the Americas provides training and internships for young people in Latin America and the Caribbean and also supports career and business opportunities in renewable energy.
  • El Mil Milenario/Millennium 1000: Identify and recognize 1,000 of the Hemisphere’s young entrepreneurs not over 35. Major criteria: employment created
  • Business and Program Partnerships. Ybiz is engaging in high-level dialogues with business leaders on developing the entrepreneurial talents of young people in the Hemisphere.
