NATIONAL HEROES

In 1998 the Hon. Prime Minister, Dr. Kenny Anthony, recognizing the importance of heroes in the development of the people of Saint Lucia established a National Heroes Park Committee and a National Heroes Day advisory Committee. The National Heroes Park Committee has since developed a National Heroes Monument Design, as well as, a design for the park. The park is to be located at the Prevost Redoubt Site, on Morne Fortune, Castries.*
