The House of the Americas
thru the eyes of children
This page was inspired by many letters and
drawings received from children who visited the Building of the Organization of American
States, called the House of the Americas. The Letters and Illustrations presented here
were received from fourth grade students of the Valley Elementary School in Jefferson,
Maryland, who wrote describing their impression after their tour of the building. We
hope that other children reading these pages will teach them about the OAS and its member
countries.
(These drawings were compiled
in a publication to commemorate the International Year of the
Child in 1979)
