Wan Exiang is Doctor of law, and professor of
international law at Wuhan University Law School.
He was Deputy Head of the International Law
Department, and Director of the International Law Research Institute,
Wuhan University Law School. He was the Founding Director of the Center
for Protection of Rights of Disadvantaged Citizens, as well as Deputy
President of Wuhan Intermediate People’s Court, and Deputy President of
Hubei People’s High Court.
Currently, he is the Justice and Deputy President of
the Supreme Court of People’s Republic of China, a member of the
standing committee of Chinese People’s Consultative Conference (CPPCC),
Vice Chairman of China Society for Human Rights Studies, and member of
China International Law Society.
