FUNDACYT - Ecuador

Established in 1994 by and independent board, endowed by Ecuadorian government, FUNDACYT (Fundación para la Ciencia y la Technología), is a not for profit foundation. It promotes, orients, and strengthens science, technology, and innovation in Ecuador's academic and productive sector through the development of human and physical resources.

In May of 2001, the Rowe Fund signed an agreement with FUNDACYT and LASPAU  to finance up to 20 scientists at master's level in universities within the United States.
