Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Assistant Secretary General in Suriname for Foreign Relations Meeting

The Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Ambassador Albert Ramdin, arrived in Suriname this week to attend a meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR).
The OAS official will join dozens of Foreign Ministers from around the region and other parts of the world to examine challenges currently facing the hemisphere. Ambassador Ramdin is expected to present a briefing on OAS activities in the region, with a specific emphasis on Haiti, in addition to briefing Ministers on the upcoming OAS General Assembly in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and the conclusions of the recent Sixth Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia.
Upon his arrival in Suriname, the OAS Assistant Secretary General met with Suriname’s Foreign Minister, Winston Lackin. Also present at the meeting was the Permanent Representative of Suriname to the OAS, Ambassador Niermala Hindori-Badrising. Ambassador Ramdin also met with the Chair of Suriname’s National Assembly, Jennifer Geerlings Simons.
During his meeting with the Foreign Minister, the Assistant Secretary General delivered an official letter of response from OAS Secretary General Jose Miguel Insulza to Suriname’s request for assistance with the establishment of truth and reconciliation commission.
