OAS Permanent Council to Host Vice President and Minister of Foreign Relations of Costa Rica to Discuss Women’s Struggles, Achievements, and Challenges

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, September 17 at 10:30 EDT (14:30 GMT) to discuss “women’s struggles, achievements, and challenges in the Hemisphere”. The session will take place in the Hall of the Americas at the OAS headquarters in Washington DC.

The session will feature presentations by:

The Vice President and Minister of Foreign Relations and Worship of Costa Rica, Epsy Campbell Barr
The Minister of Women and Minorities of Peru, H.E., and President, Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM), Ana María Mendieta
