Press Accreditation Process Opened for OAS General Assembly in El Salvador

From April 20 to May 17, a process of accreditation will be open for journalists, photojournalists, cameramen and other members of the press that wish to cover the Forty-first Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), to be held June 5 to 7 in El Salvador.

The General Assembly is the topmost political institution within the OAS and its decisions guide the activities and priorities of the hemispheric organization for the year ahead. Its mandates cover a wide range of subjects, including the promotion of democratic governance, the strengthening of human rights, hemispheric security , and other issues of common concern pertaining to security, among other areas.
