Press Advisory September 7, 2001    PRESS LUNCH WITH LATIN AMERICAN FILM DIRECTORS The 2001 Latin American Film Festival invites the media to meet several of the directors behind this year's films, during an informal buffet lunch on Friday, September 14, at the Art Museum of the Americas. Four directors, a producer and a screenwriter will attend and will be available for one-on-one interviews. This year the festival honors the memory of Gláucia Baena Soares, who promoted Latin American cinema in Washington. The festival is organized by the Cultural Foundation of the Americas, the American Film Institute and the Association of Ibero-American Cultural Attachés.
