PRESS LUNCH WITH LATIN AMERICAN FILM DIRECTORS

The 2001 Latin American Film Festival invites the media to meet several of the directors behind this year's films, during an informal buffet lunch on Friday, September 14, at the Art Museum of the Americas. Four directors, a producer and a screenwriter will attend and will be available for one-on-one interviews.

The 2001 Latin American Film Festival, which includes films from 14 countries, runs from September 13-23 at AFI at the Kennedy Center. This year the festival honors the memory of Gláucia Baena Soares, who promoted Latin American cinema in Washington.
