Press Advisory December 6, 2000 Internet live transmission   NEWS CONFERENCE: HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights will hold a news conference on Friday, December 8, after the close of a weeklong special session on reforming the inter-American human rights system and other issues. At the news conference, members of the Commission will also discuss the current situation in Peru, the hunger strike being carried out by prisoners at La Tablada in Argentina, and this month’s scheduled execution of a federal prisoner in the United States.
