Press Advisory May 19, 2000 NICARAGUAN PRESIDENT TO VISIT THE OAS ON WEDNESDAY Nicaraguan President Arnoldo Alemán will visit the Organization of American States (OAS) on Wednesday to address a special protocolary session of the Permanent Council. The chairman of the Permanent Council and representative from Bolivia, Ambassador Marcelo Ostria Trigo, will open the session. OAS Secretary General César Gaviria will speak prior to giving the floor to President Alemán, who will address the 34 member states of the Organization.
