Bad news for
ER doctor Eduardo Palomo: his ex-wife has stuck him with their daughter
just as he's learned of his estranged father's death while in search of
the wreck of the 18th-century galleon Trinidad. Bad news for the rest of
the family: Palomo is an illegitimate son they've never heard of, and
he's been bequeathed dad's salvage ship. Even as they—except for
half-sister Rebecca Jones—scheme to break the will, he takes a voyage of
