On the eve
of his wedding, straight-arrow auditor Maurice Echeverría finds a mighty
fishy diversion—in the million range—of Commerce Department funds. But
just then, posterior-protecting Minister Juan Pablo Olyslager
conveniently decides to take Echeverría under his wing, ushering him in
to the world of money and power, and introducing him to Yuliet Cruz, now
a call girl after her dreams of the USA foundered on poverty. A familiar
story—but what happens when love ensues?
En la víspera de su boda, el auditor honesto Maurice Echeverría encuentra
una diversión sospechosa de fondos —en los millones— del Departamento de
Comercio. En ese momento el Ministro Juan Pablo Olyslager, que siempre
cubre su propia espalda decide tomarlo a Echeverría bajo su ala,
introduciéndolo a un mundo de dinero y de poder y presentándolo a Yuliet
Cruz, ahora prostituta ya que sus sueños de los EEUU han sido derrumbados
por la pobreza. Una historia familiar, ¿pero qué sucede cuando llega el
amor?
