Her husband's gone off to tend to the farm,
there's nobody around but those two servant girls, and then those
vulgar telenovela people arrive to location shoot on her estate
what's bored housewife Monica Steuer to do? But as she observes from
her windows as the turgid story progresses, soap opera mania starts
to set in and then there's this casting call.... Impersonation,
illicit romance, jealousy personal and professional, the lure of
stardom even the class question of brunettes versus blondes it's all
here in this hilarious parody and evocation of that near-universal
soap craze.
Cuando su esposo se va a atender su granja, no
queda nadie más que las dos niñas de servicio hasta que esa gente
vulgar de la telenovela llegan para realizar tomas en su propiedad.
¿Qué es lo que hará la aburrida ama de casa Mónica Steuer? A medida
que observa desde sus ventanas el avance de la pomposa historia,
comienza a manifestarse la manía por las telenovelas y entonces se
produce el llamado para integrar el reparto ... Personificación,
romance ilícito, celos personales y profesionales, la tentación del
