Dimension-hopping tyke Mampato (after logging onto the Internet and
making some adjustments to his magic belt) picks up his friend Ogú
the Caveman en route to the distant past on Rapa Nui (Easter
Island), where young native girl Marama shows them the ways of her
people and how they carved those gigantic statues. But there's the
SCOOBY-DOO-esque bad guy stylings of the Great Ariki and his
dangerous taboos to contend with. Latest adventure of the comic book
regulars in Chile's first ever and visually striking animated film.
Mampato, que se mueve entre dimensiones (después de conectarse al
Internet y hacer algunos ajustes a su cinturón mágico), se reúne con
su amigo Ogú, el hombre de las cavernas, en su ruta al distante
pasado de Rapa Nui (Isla de Pascua), donde la joven indígena Marama
les enseña las formas de comportarse de su gente y la forma en que
esculpieron esas gigantescas estatuas. También están los personajes
malvados en el estilo de SCOOBYDOO del Gran Ariki y los peligrosos
tabúes con que deben combatir. La más reciente aventura de un libro
de tiras cómicas que es el primer dibujo animado de Chile,
visualmente impresionante.
