After punks Daniel Muñoz and Fernando Gómez
Rovira give cabbie Alejandro Trejo the "wheel or trunk?" option,
then dragoon him into being their driver for stickups, he's amazed
when they share their spoils with him. Then, as the prospect of
paying off his cab looms, he starts joining in himself, even as the
boys contemplate rehabilitation while enjoying family life
themselves with Trejo's wife and kids but then those cops start
moving in. Biting comedy/drama about the desperation of the poor,
with vibrant score and shock ending. Best Film, San Sebastián

Luego que los maleantes Daniel Muñoz y Fernando
Gómez Rovira le dan al taxista Alejandro Trejo la opción de “volante
o maleta” y lo fuerzan a ser el conductor en los asaltos, éste queda
sombrado cuando los delincuentes comparten con él el botín. Luego, a
medida que las perspectivas de pagar el taxi se desvanecen, comienza
a unirse él mismo al grupo aun cuando los maleantes consideran la
posibilidad de rehabilitarse mientras comparten la vida de familia
de Trejo con su mujer e hijos. Hasta que los policías comienzan a
intervenir. Penetrante comedia/drama sobre la desesperación de los
pobres, con un reparto vibrante y un final que sorprende. Mejor
