Buenos Aires, 1946: forceful twentyish translator Inés Sastre (THE
BEST MAN, EU Showcase 98) takes a break from her two jobs to fall
for fortyish librarian and writer Jean-Pierre Noher, who's dominated
by his mother (he checks in by phone during their dinners), starting
to lose his sight and afraid of sex. The real-life romance of the
great writer Jorge Luis Borges and Estela Canto, inspired by her
book, and directed by the son of the great Leopoldo Torre Nilsson.
