Un grupo de veteranos de la guerra del Chaco de 1932-1935 visitan los antiguos campos de batalla, donde comienza una retrospectiva sobre un joven oficial que deja a su hermano herido para ir al frente y, obedeciendo las órdenes del jefe de comando, dirige un ataque por un túnel, regresa para casarse y...
