OAS/GTZ PROJECT ON QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY IN SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE ENTERPRISE

This project is sponsored by the OAS and the German Development Cooperation Agency (Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit - GTZ) and is based on the philosophy of total quality as the key to competitiveness. The project concluded its second phase with a coordination meeting where the final evaluation was done. On the basis of that evaluation, the German Government has agreed to continue its support of the project, which has, on its own, generated considerable horizontal cooperation. In its next phase, the project will be encouraging the integration of participating centers and expansion into more large-scale industry.
