The Inter-university Hemispheric Network of Scientific and Technological Information (RedHUCyT)

The principal purpose of this project is to connect the countries of the region to INTERNET, thus forming a computerized network that researchers, professors and specialists from universities in the member States can use to share scientific and technological information. The United States has made a contribution to the network. The OAS effort focuses on designing and supporting regional steering mechanisms to organize, launch and operate computerized data sharing networks.
