Created in 1971 by the General Assembly, the purpose of the Administrative Tribunal is to settle any dispute with staff members that may arise as a result of administrative decisions. It comprises six members of differing nationalities, elected in a personal capacity by the General Assembly. Each time the Tribunal meets, three of its members sit on the bench.
