▪ Course on International
Refugee Law (2009)
Resolution AG/RES. 2402 (XXXVIII-O/08), operative paragraph
8, instructs the Permanent Council to organize, through the
Committee on Juridical and Political Affairs and with
support from the Department of International Law of the
General Secretariat and the collaboration of the UN High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), a course on international
refugee law for staff of the permanent missions of member
states to the OAS, General Secretariat personnel, and other
interested persons.
The course was made the February 19, 2009, at the
OAS (GSB Building, Salon Padhila Vidal), and will take place
in accordance with the Program of the course approved by the
CAJP.
