Draft Inter-American Convention against Racism and Discrimination

In 2005, a working group was set up in the framework of the OAS with a mandate to prepare a Draft Inter-American Convention against Racism and All Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance.

Given the importance of the issue for the Afro-descendant community, which is the victim of racism and discrimination, the Department of International Law aims to spread awareness about the preparation process of the draft convention and encourage civil society to get in touch with that process.
